The CD 9 remote control, included with your C 568 Compact Disc Player, allows you to operate playback functions from the comfort of your chair or anywhere in the room. For reliable operation, ensure there is a clear line-of-sight path from the remote control to the front of the CD player. If the player does not respond to remote commands, the line of sight may be obstructed by clothing, paper, or furnishings.
Most buttons on the remote control have the same functions as the corresponding buttons on the player's front panel. Additionally, the remote is equipped with some extra function keys.

REPEAT [RPT]
You can repeat a specific track or file by pressing the [RPT] button.
- Toggle this button to cycle through repeat modes: repeat a track/file, repeat a folder, or repeat all tracks/files. The corresponding icons (REPEAT, REPEAT FOLDER, or REPEAT ALL) will be illuminated on the FRONT PANEL DISPLAY (VFD) to indicate the selected mode.
- To turn off repeat mode, press the [RPT] button until the REPEAT icon is no longer displayed on the VFD.
REPEAT A-B [RPT A-B]
To repeat a sequence, follow these steps:
1. Press [RPT A-B] at your chosen starting point. "REPEAT A B" will illuminate on the VFD, with "B" blinking.
2. Press [RPT A-B] again at your chosen end point. "REPEAT A B" will stay illuminated, and the repeat sequence will begin.
3. Press [RPT A-B] again to cancel the sequence.

Number buttons 0 - 9
Using the direct-entry numeric keypad (0 to 9) on the C 568 allows you to jump directly to the beginning of a specific track or file and start playback. For example, to play Track 5, simply press "5." To play File 20, press "2" followed by "0."
