What is the USB Upgrade Procedure for M50.2?

SETUP CONDITIONS

  1. To download a copy of the firmware for your NAD unit, please contact the NAD Support Crew.
  2. Save the upgrade file (.IMG file) to the root directory of a USB storage device formatted in FAT32 or NTFS.
  3. Switch off the M50.2 using the rear panel POWER switch.
  4. Insert the USB storage device with the .IMG file into the front panel USB port.

UPGRADE PROCEDURE 

  1. Switch on the M50.2's rear panel POWER switch. When the Status Indicator (NAD logo on the front panel) turns Red, press and hold the Power (Standby) button located on the top side of the front panel.
  2. Keep holding the Power (Standby) button until the Status Indicator starts blinking in an alternating pattern of Green and Red.
  3. Once the process is complete, the M50.2 will reboot automatically and return to normal functionality.
  4. Remove the USB storage device from the front USB port.
