If you are experiencing problems with the M51 Direct Digital DAC, you may want to try to perform a factory reset.
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that a factory reset may result in data loss, such as music service credentials, speaker calibrations, or room correction filters.
Ensure to note any customized settings you want to remember before performing a factory reset.
To perform a factory reset:
- Press and hold the front panel [INPUT] button.
- Set to ON the rear panel POWER switch while still holding on to the [INPUT] button.
- When VFD (display) illuminates, release the [INPUT] button.
(V1.xx stands for the software version.) - When VFD TEST is flashing (within 3 seconds), press the front panel STANDBY button, and the RESET on the VFD display flashes.
M51 will go to reset mode with the VFD displaying Factory Reset...M51 resets and automatically shuts down.
If you encounter an issue with the M51 that cannot be fixed with a factory reset, reach out to your nearest NAD Authorized Dealer/Distributor or Submit a request for further evaluation.
