If you are experiencing problems with the T778 AV Surround Sound Receiver, you may want to try to perform a factory reset.
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that a factory reset may result in data loss, such as music service credentials, saved Playlists, file shares, or WiFi network configuration.
Ensure to note any customized settings you want to remember before performing a factory reset.
T778 has the option to Factory Reset the BluOS Firmware or the T778 System Firmware using the Front Panel Display.
T778 - BluOS Firmware Factory Reset
Restore BluOS firmware to its factory default settings. Use your finger to touch, swipe, and navigate through the front panel display items. Touch or swipe (left, right, upwards, or downwards) to select or configure an item.
- Tap the MENU button (3 lines) in the upper-left corner.
- Select the Settings icon in the left menu.
- Tap Setup Menu > System and Upgrade.
- Select BluOS Factory Reset.
- On the Confirmation Required screen, select Factory Reset.
A successful BluOS Factory Reset is indicated by the unit rebooting, and;
- For a wireless connection, the T778 returns to Hotspot mode, and the NAD logo indicator turns solid White.
- For wired connection, the T778 will connect as if it were a new player and the NAD logo indicator will turn solid White.

T778 - System Factory Reset
