| MENU | Access the disc menu, if available. |
| ⯊/⯋/◖/◗ | Select an item in a menu. Select the desired track, chapter, file, or folder. In some applications, one has to press [ENTER] to complete the selection. |
| ENTER | Confirm the selected option, item, or menu. |
| DISP | Show playback time and other display information. |
| RTN | Exit from a menu window. |
| [⏏] | Open or close the disc tray. |
| [⏹] | Stop playback. |
| [⏸] | Pause playback temporarily. |
| [⏮] | Go to the beginning of the current or previous track, chapter, or file. |
| [⏵] | Start playback. |
| [⏭] | Go to the next track, chapter, or file. |
| RAND | Play tracks/files in random order. |
| RPT | Repeat track, chapter, file, or whole disc. |
| PROG | Enter or exit program mode. |
| CLEAR | Delete programmed track/file. |
| A, B, C, D | Navigate or select the BD-ROM menu, if applicable. |
