Bluetooth (BT) Work Mode for C 368 / C 388 functions as Bluetooth Sink or Bluetooth Source.
- Sink: The C 368 / C 388 acts as a receiver for audio streaming from a Bluetooth transmitter.
- Source: The C 368 / C 388 acts as a transmitter for audio streaming to a Bluetooth receiver.
This article explains how to enable Bluetooth mode, change the Bluetooth Work Mode to Source or Sink, and how to connect the C 368 / C 388 as a Bluetooth Source or Sink device.
Note: Ensure to connect the Bluetooth antenna to the terminal in the rear panel of the C 368 / C 388.
You can use these buttons on the C 368 / C 388 to navigate across screens and perform the steps in the following sections.

Enable Bluetooth
Follow these steps to enable Bluetooth:
- While accessing the current Source screen, press ˄ till the Source Setup menu is highlighted. Then, press [ENTER].
- Toggle ˂ or ˃ till the Bluetooth screen appears.
- Press [ENTER] and the Bluetooth – Name screen appears.
- Toggle ˂ or ˃ to navigate to the Bluetooth – Enabled screen.
- Press [ENTER] and toggle ˂ or ˃ to set the display to Enabled – Yes.
- Press ˄ multiple times to exit the Source Setup menu and go back to the Source screen you were accessing before Step 1.
- Toggle any of the SOURCE buttons till the screen displays Bluetooth. After a few seconds, the Bluetooth (Source) – Connectable or Bluetooth (Sink) – Connectable screen is displayed.
Change BT work mode
Follow these steps to change the Bluetooth Work Mode to Source or Sink:
- While accessing the current Source screen, press ˄ till the Source Setup menu is highlighted.
- Press ˃. The Settings menu is highlighted.
- Press [ENTER]. The Tone Controls screen appears.
- Press ˅ multiple times till the BT Work Mode – Sink or BT Work Mode – Source screen appears.
- Toggle ˂ or ˃, to change the BT Work Mode to preferred mode: Source or Sink.
- Press ˄ multiple times to exit the Settings menu and go back to the Source screen you were accessing before Step 1.
Sink Mode
Follow these steps to Connect/Disconnect C 368 / C 388 (sink mode) to other Bluetooth transmitters:
Connect
- Toggle any of the SOURCE buttons till the screen displays Bluetooth. After a few seconds, the Bluetooth (Sink) – Connectable screen is displayed.
Note: If the work mode is in Source, follow steps under Change BT work mode. - Press and hold [ENTER] till the screen changes to Bluetooth (Sink) – Discoverable.
- Using an iOS or Android device, go to Settings >Bluetooth and then scan for Bluetooth devices.
- The unique device ID of C 368 / C 388 is listed or selectable in the available Bluetooth device list. Pair or connect your C 368 / C 388 and Bluetooth device.
- Upon successful pairing of your Bluetooth device and the C 368 / C 388, the display will change to Bluetooth (Sink) – Connected and then Bluetooth (Sink) – Playing when music is played from your Bluetooth device.
Note: When the Bluetooth connection of the connected iOS or Android device is turned OFF, the C 368 / C 388 display changes to Bluetooth (Sink) – Connectable. To reconnect the same Bluetooth device, perform step 3 only.
To connect other Bluetooth devices perform all steps from Step 1.
Disconnect
- Using the connected iOS or Android device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Under Paired devices / My devices, tap Unpair, or Forget this device. The screen on C 368 / C 388 changes to Bluetooth (sink) – Connectable.
Source Mode
Follow these steps to Connect/Disconnect C 368 / C 388 (source mode) to other Bluetooth receivers (headphone):
Connect
- Toggle any of the SOURCE buttons till the screen displays Bluetooth. After a few seconds, the Bluetooth (Source) – Connectable screen is displayed.
Note: If the work mode is in Sink, follow the steps under Change BT work mode. - Press and hold [ENTER] till the screen changes to Bluetooth (Source) – Inquiring.
- Press ˂ or ˃, to navigate across Bluetooth devices (headphones) available.
- Press [ENTER] to connect to the selected Bluetooth device (headphone). The display of C 368 / C 388 changes to Bluetooth (Source) – Connected.
- Toggle the SOURCE buttons and select an active source media to stream to the connected Bluetooth device.
Disconnect
When the Bluetooth (Source) – Connected screen appears on the display, press [ENTER]. The display changes to Bluetooth (Source) – Connectable screen, and the Bluetooth device is disconnected.
