How do I select VU meter display on my NAD C700?

VU meter display is only available for Analog, Optical, Coaxial and HDMI Input sources on the C700.

To enable the VU meter display for sources on C700, perform the following steps:

1. Press and hold the VOLUME-MENU knob until the display shows the Sources, My Presets, and Settings options.
2. Rotate the VOLUME-MENU knob to highlight Settings and press the knob.
3. Rotate the VOLUME-MENU knob to highlight Source Setup and press the knob.
4. Rotate the VOLUME-MENU knob to highlight the required Source (Analog In 1/Analog In 2/ Optical In/Coaxial In/HDMI In) and press the knob.
5. Rotate the VOLUME-MENU knob to highlight Front View and press the knob to configure it.

Front panel display layout and contents can be configured by selecting the following options:

• Album Only / Album and Text / Album, Text and VU / Text Only
• Source (Simple) / Source (Detailed)
• Analog VU meter / Digital VU

A combination of the above options is available depending on the Source selected.
