If you are experiencing problems with the M33 BluOS Streaming DAC Amplifier, you may want to try to perform a factory reset.
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that a factory reset may result in data loss, such as music service credentials, saved Playlists, file shares, or WiFi network configuration.
Ensure to note any customized settings you want to remember before performing a factory reset.
Factory Reset can be performed using any of the following methods:
Front Panel Display
Use your finger to touch, swipe, and navigate through the front panel display items. Touch or swipe (left, right, upwards or downwards) to select or configure an item.
- Tap the MENU button (3 lines) in the upper-left corner.
- Select the Settings icon in the left menu.
- Tap Other > Factory Reset.
Force Factory Reset (using the RESET button)
- Turn OFF the Mains Power switch on the rear panel.
- Press and hold the rear panel RESET button (using a toothpick or similar tool) and while doing so Turn ON the Mains Power switch on the rear panel. Do not release the hold of the RESET button.
- After about 30 seconds of holding down the RESET button, the NAD logo indicator alternatively blinks Red and White.
Note: Releasing the RESET button at any time before the NAD logo indicator begins flashing Red and White, will cancel the factory reset and leave the M33 at Upgrade Mode. Just start again the procedure for the Factory Reset - Release the RESET button as soon as the Front Panel Display shows Factory Reset.
A successful Factory Reset is indicated by the unit rebooting.
- For a wireless connection, the M33 returns to Hotspot mode, and the NAD logo indicator turns solid White.
- For wired connection, the M33 will connect as if it were a new player and the NAD logo indicator turns solid White.
