The M10 V2 offers Vacation Mode, fully powering off with minimal power consumption (less than 0.5W), rendering it inaccessible via the network or BluOS Controller App. Additionally, the Amplifier Standby Mode, with power consumption under 6W, automatically switches to Standby Mode after 20 minutes of inactivity, maintaining network connection.
Amplifier Standby Mode
When Amplifier Standby Mode is enabled, the M10 V2 automatically switches to Standby Mode when there is no user interaction or active source input for 20 minutes. However, the Player maintains a network connection at Standby Mode with reduced system performance. The unit's power consumption is less than 6W.
To enable Amplifier Standby Mode, perform the following steps:
- On the front panel display, tap the MENU button (3 lines) in the upper-left corner.
- Select the Settings icon in the left menu.
- Tap Player and scroll to the Amplifier Standby option.
- Tap the Amplifier Standby toggle option to enable or disable the Amplifier Standby function:
- Enabled: Player automatically switches to Standby Mode when there is no user interaction or active source input for 20 minutes. To wake it up, touch the front panel or stream anything to the Player using BluOS Controller App.
- Disabled: Automatic standby mode is disabled.
Vacation Mode
When set to Vacation Mode, M10 V2 will fully power off (no network or Amplifier activity) and will no longer be accessible via the network or in the BluOS Controller App.
To enable the Vacation Mode, press and hold (5 seconds) the Standby button on the rear panel, and the Status Indicator (NAD Logo on the top panel) starts flashing Red before turning to solid Amber.
To wake up the Player from the Vacation Mode, press the Standby button on the rear panel. The Status Indicator will change from Amber to solid White.
The power consumption in Vacation Mode is less than 0.5W.
