If you are experiencing problems with the C700 BluOS Streaming Amplifier, you may want to try to perform a factory reset.
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that a factory reset may result in data loss, such as music service credentials, saved Playlists, file shares, or WiFi network configuration.
Ensure to note any customized settings you want to remember before performing a factory reset.
Factory Reset can be performed using any of the following methods:
Front Panel Display
- Press and hold the VOLUME-MENU knob until the display shows the Sources, My Presets, and Settings options.
- Rotate the VOLUME-MENU knob to highlight Settings and press the knob.
- Rotate the VOLUME-MENU knob to highlight System and Upgrade and press the knob.
- Rotate the VOLUME-MENU knob to highlight the Factory Reset and press the knob.
Force Factory Reset (using the Standby button)
- Disconnect the mains power plug from the mains power outlet.
- Press and hold the rear panel Standby button and while doing so reconnect the mains power plug to the mains power outlet. Do not release the Standby button.
- After about 30 seconds of holding down the Standby button, the NAD logo indicator blinks Red.
- Release the Standby button as soon as the NAD logo indicator blinks Red.
A successful Factory Reset is indicated by the unit rebooting.

- For a wireless connection, the C700 returns to Hotspot mode, and the NAD logo indicator turns solid White.
- For wired connection, the C700 will connect as if it were a new player and the NAD logo indicator turns into solid White.
