If you are experiencing problems with the M66 BluOS Streaming DAC-Preamplifier, you may want to try to perform a factory reset.
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that a factory reset may result in data loss, such as music service credentials, saved Playlists, file shares, or WiFi network configuration.
Ensure to note any customized settings you want to remember before performing a factory reset.
Factory Reset can be performed using any of the following methods:
Front Panel Display
- Tap the MENU button (3 lines) in the upper-left corner.
- Select the Settings icon in the left menu.
- Tap Other > Factory Reset.
Force Factory Reset (using the RESET button)
- Disconnect the mains power plug from the mains power outlet.
- Press and hold the rear panel RESET tact button using a paper clip (or a SIM-eject tool) and while doing so reconnect the mains power plug to the mains power outlet. Do not release the RESET button.
- After about 30 seconds of holding down the RESET button, the NAD logo indicator blinks Red-White-Red. The Front Panel displays "BluOS Service Mode".
- Release the RESET button as soon as the Front Panel displays "Factory Reset..."
A successful Factory Reset is indicated by the unit rebooting.
- For a wireless connection, the M66 returns to Hotspot mode, and the NAD logo indicator turns solid White.
- For wired connection, the M66 will connect as if it were a new player and the NAD logo indicator will turn solid White.
