To enable the VU meter display for sources on M66, perform the following steps:
- On the front panel display, tap the MENU button (3 lines) in the upper-left corner.
- Select the Settings icon in the left menu.
- Tap Source Setup.
- Select the required source.
- Tap Front View.
Front panel display layout and contents can be configured by selecting the following options:
- Text Only: Displays album name, song title, artist name, broadcast/radio station, name, title of the show, and so on.
- Album Only: Displays album/title art, station ID symbol, or icon only
- Album and Text: Displays album/title art, station ID symbol, icon, and other information like album name, song title, artist name, broadcast/radio station name, title of the show, and so on.
- Album, Text, and VU: Displays all the information indicated above for Cover Art and Metadata plus VU meter.
- Source (Simple): Displays Source name only ("BluOS") or name of Cloud or Radio Service
- Source (Detailed): Displays Source name or name of Cloud or Radio Service plus other information like volume level
- Analog VU meter / Digital VU Meter: The VU Meter monitors or reflects the audio input level of the current BluOS source. If “Mute” is enabled, the VU meter will not turn off or go to the minimum level as it is the audio output that is muted.
Note: A combination of the above options is available depending on the Source selected.
