M66 has two Standby Modes:
Prerequisites:
- The player should be connected to the Mains power source.
- The rear panel Power switch should be in the ON position.
DEEP STANDBY MODE
STANDBY BUTTON - DEEP STANDBY MODE
At Deep Standby Mode, the power consumption is less than 0.5W. Network and Bluetooth connections are NOT maintained.
To enable Deep Standby Mode using the Standby button, press and hold the Standby button on the top panel for more than 5 seconds until the display turns off.
Press the Standby button or rotate the Volume knob to switch the M66 from Deep Standby Mode to Operating Mode.
NETWORK STANDBY MODE
When Network Standby Mode is enabled, the M66 automatically switches to Standby Mode when there is no user interaction or active source input for 15 minutes. However, the Player maintains the network and Bluetooth connection at Standby Mode with reduced system performance. The unit's power consumption is less than 8W.
FRONT PANEL DISPLAY - NETWORK STANDBY MODE
To enable Network Standby Mode using the front panel display, perform the following steps:
- On the front panel display, tap the MENU button (3 lines) in the upper-left corner.
- Select the Settings icon in the left menu.
- Tap Player and scroll to the Standby option.
- Tap the Standby toggle option to enable or disable the Network Standby function:
- Disabled: Network Standby mode is disabled.

Enabled: Player automatically switches to Standby Mode when there is no user interaction or active source input for 15 minutes. To wake it up:
- Touch the Standby button
- Touch front panel display
- Rotate Volume knob
- Stream content using BluOS Controller app
- Play paired Bluetooth source
- Press the Standby button on the SRM1 remote control
BLUOS CONTROLLER APP - NETWORK STANDBY MODE
To enable Network Standby Mode using the front panel display, perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Network Standby
- Launch the BluOS Controller app and select the required M66 from the Players tab .
- Select the Home tab > Settings button in the upper-right corner to launch the Player's Settings screen.
- Select Player.
- Tap the Standby toggle option to enable or disable the Network Standby function:
- Disabled: Network Standby mode is disabled.

Windows/macOS - Network Standby
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer and select the required Player.
- Under the left Navigation Drawer, select Settings >Player.
- Select the Standby toggle option to enable or disable the Network Standby function:
- Disabled: Network Standby mode is disabled.

STANDBY BUTTON - NETWORK STANDBY MODE
When the Standby option is enabled using the front panel display or the BluOS Controller app, you can manually enable the Network Standby Mode using the Standby button on the Player.
Press and hold the Standby button on the top panel to switch the M66 from Operating Mode to Network Standby Mode. The Status Indicator (NAD logo) will illuminate Amber.
Press the Standby button again to switch the M66 from Network Standby Mode to Operating Mode. The Status Indicator (NAD logo) will turn from Amber to White.
